Kenichi Ebina is a 38 year old Japanese who is renowned for his “dance-ish” performance at America’s Got Talent. He even won the eighth season of America’s Got Talent on September 18, 2013. Before he became renowned for his performance at America’s Got Talent, he took part in Apollo Amateur Night seven times where he remains the only two-time grand champion. He also won first place at Apollo Amateur Night during his dance troupe BiTriP performance in 2001.

In his first performance, which was uploaded on YouTube on June 18, 2013, he debuted with an epic matrix-style martial arts dance performance which all four judges loved epically.

In his performance, he portrayed his character as a machine who’s been manufactured and tweaked. He carried on the act by demonstrating that the machine is learning how to fight and perform better. After a few malfunctions and some modifications, “the machine” now becomes fully operational and is able to beat the heck out of anybody who’s in its path.

Kenichi Ebina performs very well, mimicking renowned actions that he has adopted from Hollywood films such as the matrix-style bullet dodge. In fact, his bullet dodge style coupled with the coming back from the dead act has been loved by his viewers and turned them into fans.

According to the judges, his 90-second performance was one of the amazing dances they’ve ever seen – the best dance they had seen in a long time. Every judge voted “Yes” which allowed him to win the 8th season of America’s Got Talent. You can also learn How To Dance like Kenichi Ebina by watching his videos.
